Beattie vows to ‘reach out’ as he launches his bid to succeed Aiken

Retired Army captain Doug Beattie said it is no longer enough to just defend the Union and that he would reach out to others with a progressive vision as he confirmed his bid to succeed Steve Aiken as Ulster Unionist leader.
